New Additions to the Blogroll - #LIFEOFAMEDSTUDENT, Docs OTB & Vital PE

One of the great things about running your own blog is that you eventually become a member of the greater blogger community.  Since launching FPMD, I have been introduced to many physician bloggers, many of whom are frequently featured on my weekly Future Proof Shares.  Earlier in October, I started the Future Proof Blogroll to feature some of my favorites, today I want to introduce 3 news additions to the Blogroll.  If you enjoy this site, make sure to check out these 3 as well.

#LIFEOFAMEDSTUDENT

Anesthesia

Charlie is an anesthesia resident in his last year of training. During his time as a medical student, he started the popular Twitter account #LifeofaMedStudent. Recently, this movement has expanded into a blog and website at Lifeofamedstudent.com. One of his favorite topics is improving the financial knowledge of his followers, an area he feels is under-taught in medical education.

DOCS OUTSIDE THE BOX (DOCSOTB)

Trauma Surgery

Dr. Nii Darko (DO, MBA) is the voice behind the Docs Outside the Box (DocsOTB) podcast. His podcast highlights physicians who are thriving in nontraditional paths in medicine. The goal of DocsOTB is to become the trusted voice helping to empower physicians by bringing inspirational interviews and stories from other ordinary doctors who are doing extraordinary things.

THE VITAL PHYSICIAN EXECUTIVE

Family Medicine

Dr. John Jurica (MD, MPH, CPE) is the mind behind the site - The Vital Physician Executive. As a board certified family physician who transitioned into management & administrative medicine early in his clinical practice, John's goal is to encourage emerging physician executives and helping them become more successful and effective leaders.

Future Proof, MD

Dr. Bo Liu is an aspiring radiologist-in-training and the founder and editor of the White Coat Money Blog.  He has an interest in interventional radiology and helping his medical colleagues get ahead in this mad world of medicine and money.  When he's not crushing the list at the PACS station or typing up your next favorite blog post, you can usually find him at the local badminton club, movie theater or the most recently opened restaurant.
