Apple has traditionally offered great education discounts during the summer months - an extended back-to-school sale if you will.  When I was in college back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, they offered a free iPod mini with Mac purchase.  This year, they are offerings a free pair of Beats headphones with purchase of a qualifying Mac computer or an iPad Pro.
